Two weeks ago we went with Jan and Rob Hadley to Lake Tahoe. We stayed right near the state line, but we didn't gamble. The weather was very cold, in the low 30's and it was quite a shock since it has still been in the 70's and 80's here. We went on Thursday and Friday there was a storm. We decided to go for a drive around the lake which is 72 miles. It was a great time to do that because there was little to no traffic and the storm stayed on the other side of the lake the entire time we drove around. It was a great sight. We were in the sun, and the storm was snowing on the other side. I forgot to bring my camera so I don't have pictures to show you. Rob had his so later I will get his and share them. We got out a few times to talk around and see the sights. The Lake was so beautiful. We had lunch at a fun place by the time we got back to our rooms we were very tired. After a rest we went to dinner at an Thi place.
Saturday we slept late and then headed home because we wanted to spend the day at Applehill. There must be 80 places to stop and buy apples and pies and anything you can make with applels. There were fun shops, places to eat and way too many people. Saturday isn't the best day to go there because it is so popular. We had a great time and had great food.
